Yorkshire DipCon 2016 - Cancelled

Unfortunately, due to lack of numbers, Yorkshire DipCon 2016 has been cancelled.

UK Face to Face Diplomacy has been on Facebook for some time but finally we have a link to our pages from our web pages.  Please note that other social networking environments are available but you'll only find us on Facebook I'm afraid.

Graeme Murphy wins all at MidCon

Having already won ManorCon this year, Tour of Britain leader Graeme Murphy arrived at MidCon in a strong position in a short 2 event Tour for 2013. After winning round 1, Graeme was odds on to win the Tour of Britain and well set to take MidCon too. Sunday saw him wrap up both titles, for a clean sweep in 2013. Well played Graeme!

Graeme Murphy returns to ManorCon & wins!

Having missed out on last years ManorCon due to being on holiday or something, 2011's ManorCon champ Graeme Murphy returned to the event in 2013, beating last years winner, Dave Simpson, in to second place. Dave took a lead from round 1 and then Graeme allied with returning ManorCon legend Jim Mills in round 2, to take a slight lead over Dave heading in to Sunday's final round....

EGP Title stolen from the French!

French Diplomacy players issued a "Wanted" notice this week as their seemingly perennially awarded European Grand Prix Champion Title was stolen by a UK player. Last spotted heading unsteadily towards Gare du Nord sporting a large champagne stained trophy and a larger grin, an Englishman became the first non French player ever to win the title. Diplomacy players are also warned to be on the look out for three Italians who were also heavily involved.

Graeme Murphy is MidCon Champ, Dave Simpson wins Tour of Britain

The dust has settled on the final Diplomacy event of the year, MidCon 2012, the last event of the Tour of Britain for this year. Graeme Murphy returned after a summer break to take the tournament win, whilst Dave Simpson remained consistent enough to take the overall Tour of Britain prize.

ManorCon XXX win for Dave Simpson

Dave Simpson took the win at ManorCon XXX, with an unbeaten record over the three rounds. Dave finished joint top in the first two rounds and topped the board in the last round to make certain of the win in this best 2 scores out of 3 contest.

In addition to being the second step of the 2012 Tour of Britain, ManorCon was, as usual, the UK step of the EDA's European Grand Prix. This means that after two events in the European tour, Dave is leading that competition.

David Wigglesworth wins 2012 Tour opener

The 2012 Tour of Britain swung in to life at a new venue and the move turned out to be a success all round! Instead of opening up the tour at Brighton Railway Club, the event shifted along a County into the Garden of England. The reasoning behind the move was that players could stay on site, which is far cheaper than staying in Brighton! David Wigglesworth siezed his first tournament win with a very strong performance across the weekend.
